Short-handed for the event (as usual), the Phantoms crew had some much appreciated help. \u00a0Its Mixed Crew\u00a0was far more &#8220;mixed&#8221; than most, with three countries and eight+ individual teams represented in its ranks.<\/p>\n<p>Although the Phantom Dragons\u00a0didn&#8217;t quite make it to the medal round\u00a0this year, they\u00a0did post a team best 500-meter time of 2:17. \u00a0This year&#8217;s Arizona Festival was a very competitive event. \u00a0Check out the full\u00a0<a title=\"AZ 2K15 Race Results\" href=\"http:\/\/azdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/2015-AZDBF-Final-Race-Results.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Race Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Many thanks to everyone who raced w\/ the Phantom Dragons. Special paddle salute to Kamini Jain and her RAP paddlers for helping fill out our crew, and for giving the Phantoms&#8217;\u00a0female paddlers a chance to race w\/ them in the Wom<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">ens Division (in which her two teams won silver and bronze medals in the Women&#8217;s B)! \u00a0Also a shout out to the four Blindstart paddlers who added some incredible strength to our mix! \u00a0Thanks, too, to the San Diego Dragon Boat Team members who raced w\/ the Phantom Dragons\u00a0in the 250s, and allowed Captain Bligh\u00a0to run w\/ their Masters crew. \u00a0And lastly, paddle salute to Lady Di and Rho, who \u00a0got to run the 1000m race w\/ the Golden Dragons.
