\"Phantoms<\/a>On June 21, 2K14, the\u00a0Phantom Dragons competitive dragon boat team participated in The Longest Day, a sunrise to sunset event to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association, and to provide support for, and increase the visibility of, the fun and exciting sport of dragon boat racing.<\/p>\n

Joined by our Lao Buddhist Team friends, our paddlers\u00a0started the day at Union Reservoir (Longmont, CO), paddling as part of the pre-race festivities at the annual Kinetics Sculpture Race. We then finished things off on home turf at Lake Arbor in Arvada (where we hold our practice sessions).

Great paddling was had by all, and it was an awesome event to support a worthwhile cause!<\/span><\/p>\n
